Directions: In your group, you are to create a food web using the organisms provided in the envelope. After creating the food web, your group will complete the tasks described on the Analyzing Food Webs handout. Below you will find an organism guide.

Organism Guide:

Carnivores include:

Snake (eats mouse),hawk (eats snake & mouse),owl (eats frog & mouse),frog (eats cricket)

Herbivores include

Deer (eats tree leaves),mouse (eats grass),cricket (eats grass)

Producers include

Grass,trees

Decomposers

Eats dead material (everything)

Hints: 1. Make sure you pay attention to where the arrows are pointing in your web

2. Start by placing decomposers on the bottom and the hawk on the top.
